Super Hero

 Hello everyone. How you doing? Hope everyone is staying safe.

Today I'm telling about my dt project for mixed media academy. Mixed media academy is monthly challenge hosted with different theme in every month. This month mood board is gear theme or masculine.


 I have prepared my design team project based on this theme. For this, i have prepared mixed media art journal page.


 We all know mad Hatter on Alice in Wonderland. There mad Hatter had fear. He conquered his fear by understanding the reality. And he himself concluded fear as illusion.Likewise, I chose this mixed media page to remember ourselves as 'super hero' . We all have super power. The power to realise the happiness, calmness, courageous towards ourselves. Or by helping others to cheer ourselves from inside. This will happen only when we loosen our mind to relax by choosing healthy habits.Don't you think we are all super heroes.

If you want to know how i created this mixed media art journal page, read along.

At first, i have chosen My Gentleman motif sheets and some sheets from My Gentleman  6*6 paperpack by Dress My Craft from Crafters Corner.







Then i ripped the paper with hand and stick to the art journal page. The mixed media art journal which i bought it from itsy bitsy. But you can chose any art journal. 


 

Then i using clear gesso on it.


Then i distressed the edges with ink - iced spruce, peeled paint,rusty hinge.

Later, i took the parachute design chipboard and gave a coat of white gesso to it. Then i stuck the colored cardstock to the back of it.  


Meanwhile, i fussy cut the elements from motif sheet. 

Next step is selecting stencils. i took two stencils and added mixed media paste to the mixed media art journal page. 



 

I have waited till the drying of paste. Later, i figured how to assemble the components in the page. 


Next, i took the elements and stuck all the elements with glue gun.

I have taken chalk paint from my stash and added the coat of it to match the colour combination of the moodboard. Next step is to highlight it with wax.

FANCY FIVE

Hello everyone... Happy friday. It is the month of june. In some areas, it's still summer. Though little bit rain started, i experience sunny days in these days. It makes me to think of summer vacations i spent and what we eat usually in summer days.  Oh yes.. summer days are craving for cooling items. It inspired me to create this card.  This card is for color dare challenge . The challenge starts now and runs for two weeks. This week challenge is color dare challenge 499 . And the theme is fancy five. Here you can choose atleast 3 colours form the the image. i have used all colours on the background strips and black&white.  Method to prepare the card:  I have taken white cardstock. Then precisely cut into 7*8.5 inches.  Next i scored in the middle on 7 inches side. It created the slimline card base. Then i took photoplay paper in summer theme.
